Maddie is such a trouper ... she had an 8:00 a.m. soccer game this morning and played like a champ, despite the torrential rains. Her coach had a little shelter set up along the sideline for the girls to huddle under when they weren't on the field. Maddie played defense and had some nice long kicks to move the ball up the field. The other team was all boys except for two girl players and I think they underestimated our mostly girl team ... the Rowdies won 5-0. Maddie was so soaked after the game, I made her sit in the cargo area of the new car for the quick drive home!
