October Snow

Look what we woke up to this morning! Charlie loves snow so he was excited and ran all around the front yard to investigate. It is now 5:45 p.m. and it's snowing again, hard enough that Olivia came running upstairs singing "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!"

SNOW!!! I remember snow. Anyway, I know how you feel. It got down into the 50's overnight and Lauren was a little chilled at her outdoor swim meet this weekend. Just kidding. Seriously- thanks for posting the pics. I love them.

We celebrated the snow today by running to Lowe's and getting a snow blower. It was so cold today!

Tamera- WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR FALL?? We didn't even really have a spring this year because it was freezing cold until the middle of June- and now this??? What the hell?

I drove up to Park City yesterday afternoon and there wasn't ANY snow...and it was warmer up there. It was weird. I'm not ready for these frigid temps and snow...UGH.

Oh my Livibug..so cute! I have been complaining about how cold it is here but at least we haven't seen the white stuff yet. Sucks to be you! ;)

I'm just bummed because I've been working so much this month, we never made it up the canyon for our annual "Autumn Leaves" drive. We kept trying to find a day and it just never panned out. The upside is that it's supposed to be 72 degrees this weekend so I will get an opportunity to put my flower beds to sleep for the winter. I'm hoping we'll get another couple of weeks of autumn before more of the white stuff flies. It was nice though - I stayed in my cozy flannel pants all day, made stew in the crock-pot so the house smelled yummy, baked homemade rolls and pumpkin chocolate chip cookies. It was a good day to just nest. Ed was sprawled on the couch watching football most of the day. I didn't even mind!
