Ed and I enjoyed a date night last night. We ate dinner at McCool's, an Irish pub. I had the "Salmon of Wisdom" which is prepared with their special bbq glaze, atop mashed potatoes and served with a side of spinach. Delicious. Ed ordered the chicken pot pie. It was prepared in a puff pastry shell that was about the size of my head. After dinner, we saw the movie Appaloosa with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen and then stopped at Chili's dessert. We watched the Red Sox/Rays game while we shared a molten lava cake. Maddie snapped these pics for me before we left.

Lisa, you will definitely have to tag along sometime. I love date nights. We get so busy for weeks on end, it's always nice to have a chance to just be a couple and get a few hours to reconnect and focus on just the two of us. I can always tell when we haven't had time alone. Melissa, let the kids come to my house one night when Wade is around and the two of you can go out. I liked the movie. It wasn't high action but reminded me of Unforgiven. I really like Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen. The acting was top notch. I could have done without Rene Zelwegger but I liked the movie overall.
